Why choose Wall-Mounted?
  • Wall-Mounted & Space-Saving
Takes up minimal floor space while offering maximum play value with wall bars, monkey bars, a climbing net, and more.
  • Recommended by therapists in our owner community: Kids get climbing, hanging and swinging, the kind of movement linked to motor skills, balance and sensory regulation.
  • Durable & Safe
We design and build every gym to safety standards, in powder-coated steel with non-toxic finishes, rated to 220 lb and tested to 440 when mounted into studs or plywood as the guide shows. We stand behind the design and the materials. Kids are kids, though: play needs an adult in the room, and how a gym is used is up to the family.
  • Designed for U.S. Homes
Aligns with standard U.S. stud spacing (16" and 32"). We recommend mounting directly into studs for optimal safety and support. If in doubt, it is always easier to install plywood. Feel free to give us a call if you need more details.
  • Built to Last
Once installed properly, the W3 delivers safe play for years to come, indoors and all year round.

How a wall gym works

One wall. A whole gym.

Wall-mounted gyms anchor into wall studs, not the ceiling, so they work in rooms where a floor-to-ceiling gym can’t: tall, slanted, vaulted or drop-tile ceilings.

  1. 01

    Anchored to the wall

It bolts into wall studs or plywood, with mounting hardware and a drilling template included. It never touches the ceiling, so height and shape don’t matter.

  2. 02

    The floor stays open

The ladder stands 9 in off the wall and the bars run overhead. Kids need room to swing and jump off, so plan on about 3 ft of clear floor in front, with a mat underneath.

  3. 03

    Same steel as every Brainrich

Rated 220 lb and tested to 440, with non-toxic powder coat and rubber-coated rungs. Strong enough for a parent’s pull-ups or a TRX.

  4. 04

    Swings go front to back

Because it sits against the wall, swings move in one direction. A small hammock fits; for a nest swing, choose a full-size floor gym.

The safety question: what if they fall?

Hard enough to be brave. Close enough to be safe.

We won’t promise zero risk. Real height and real challenge, with you in the room, is how kids learn where their limits are.

01

First, they master it.

A gym at home gets climbed every day. Kids get to know every rung.

02

Then their body keeps up.

Daily climbing is linked to better balance, coordination and grip.

03

And the challenge does the teaching.

Start on the low rungs, and climb higher as they’re ready.

The build underneath: steel rated 220 lb and tested to 440, 250+ deliberate safety decisions, anchoring into wall studs with the included hardware. Add play mats for the landing zones. Play still needs an adult in the room. Are climbing gyms safe? The science of risky play

Sensory seekers · ADHD · Autism · Home OT

Recommended by therapists in our owner community.

About 1 in 4 Brainrich families came to us for sensory needs. For many sensory-seeking, ADHD and autistic kids, movement is regulation, and the gym gives the kind of input therapists often recommend, at home, every day.

  1. 01

    Vestibular input

Swinging and hanging upside down: the balance-system input OTs often start with.

  2. 02

    Heavy work

Climbing and pulling body weight, the deep-pressure play many families use to settle a busy body.

  3. 03

    Motor planning

Planning a route up the net builds coordination and core strength.

“We do virtual therapies in our house every day: OT, physical, speech. The therapists all love it.”

Nicole M. · Parent, child in OT/PT/speech

“As an early childhood special educator and mom, I wish I had this earlier. My kids, 7 and 9, still love this thing!”

Jean C. · Early childhood special educator

Questions, answered

Everything else you’d ask us.

Won’t they get bored of it?

It’s the most common worry and the one owners disprove most. Families report daily use at year three and beyond, because the attachments change and the challenge grows with them.

What ages is it for?

From the toddler years to 12 and up, with a parent’s hands close by for the little ones. Parents use it too (rated 220 lb, tested to 440).

Do I need to drill into my ceiling or wall?

Yes, into the wall. Wall-mounted gyms bolt into wall studs or plywood, with mounting hardware and a drilling template included. That’s why they work where tension gyms can’t: tall, slanted, vaulted and drop-tile ceilings.

What ceiling height do I need?

Almost any. Because it anchors to the wall, not the ceiling, it works with tall, slanted, vaulted and drop-tile ceilings. You need a stud wall wide enough for the frame (the W3 is 4 ft 2 in wide) and about 3 ft of clear floor in front.

How does delivery work, and how long does setup take?

Shipping is free across Canada. GST/HST is added at checkout. Yukon, NWT or Nunavut? Email info@brainrichkids.com for a delivery quote.

Mounting takes an afternoon with two adults and a drill for the wall studs.

The Brainrich app walks you through each stage with videos and animations, and live FaceTime setup support is there if you want a human on the line.

Prefer to hire it out? A handyman or contractor can follow the same videos, and we can help you find one.

What’s included? Will I need to buy add-ons?

Every gym is complete and climbable out of the box: frame, rungs, and the equipment listed in “In the box” above. Swings, climbing nets, cross bars and monkey bars are optional add-ons, and because the system is modular you can start lean and add them at birthdays and holidays.

What if my kids don’t use it?

Every gym is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Questions? Ask us for the details.

Yegor Nadvornyy as a boy, hanging from the bar of the steel ladder he grew up on in Ukraine
Why Brainrich exists

I grew up on a steel ladder at home in Ukraine. My sister and I climbed it for years, and about 35 years later it’s still standing in my parents’ house. I want your kids to have one like it.
