Financial Assistance
47 of 51 U.S. jurisdictions run a Medicaid waiver that can fund therapy equipment for children. Most families never hear about it. Money should never be the reason your child doesn't get the movement they need. So here's every door, in one place.
Start here: which sounds like your family?
- “My child has a diagnosis or developmental delay.” → Door 1: your state's waiver can cover up to 100%.
- “We have an HSA or FSA account.” → Door 2: pay with pre-tax dollars today and save about 30%.
- “My child already sees an OT, PT, or pediatrician.” → Door 3: a Letter of Medical Necessity unlocks both doors above.
- “It's simply a tight month.” → Door 4: our financial aid. A 2-minute form, reviewed by humans.

Door 1 — Your state's disability waiver
Every state runs Medicaid waiver programs for children with developmental disabilities. Most count only the child's income — a family earning $150,000 can still qualify. We verified the relevant program in all 50 states plus DC, with official sources linked.
Your three steps:
- Find your state in the guide. Note the exact program name and funding category to ask for.
- Get on your state's list this week. Priority is usually set by application date.
- Email us your state and program name. We'll send the documentation pack your case worker needs.

Door 2 — HSA/FSA dollars
The fastest door, with no paperwork chasing. Choose HSA/FSA at checkout and answer a short health survey. A licensed provider emails you a signed Letter of Medical Necessity right in the flow. Then pay with your HSA/FSA card — pre-tax dollars, an effective saving of up to about 30%.
