We all know that play has an essential part of our little kiddos’ learning and development. Engaging them in play-based learning is an opportunity to develop their skills and creativity. Open-ended play allows the kids to explore and experiment freely without rules, limits, or instructions. This play is in the form of using boxes, blocks, or pillows to create a fort, creating different creatures using molding clay, playing with stuffed animals as tea party guests, and other resources to imaginative play.
As parents, we engage them in the time and opportunity to play with toys to foster their creativity and make their own decisions. Let your kiddos take the lead in playing! As they embrace open-ended play and imaginative play, you’ll be amazed at how they can do things independently and how they enjoy playing while learning!
